4th African Rift Geothermal Conference Opens In Nairobi

NAIROBI, Nov 22 (BERNAMA-NNN-KBC) -- The Kenyan government has taken deliberate steps to harness the geothermal potential in the country, but development of this energy source has been constrained by limited budgetary support because of competing demands, high upfront costs for drilling, and the attendant risks of sinking failed wells, says Vice-President Kalonzo Musyoka.
